The “Break it Down” Blog

Good lord. I was totally expecting death-match galore but the following things blew my mind:

• Epic noticed less than 50% of people who purchased UT2004 went online, so UT3 will have a full, co-op enabled (up to 4 players), single player story mode that had multiple branch points.
• The attention to detail in the weapons is worth the watch alone… things like sliding the teleporter under someone then activating it to tele-frag them, or trying to hop on the transport now and getting sucked down into the turbines and gibbing out, or using the melee hammer to jump yourself or EMP a vehicle as you dodge it to shut off… not to mention the fact that gore “cakes on the hammer as you kill with it”… umm SWEET!
• The graphics look in the same category of Gears of War (same style) but with more “edge” to it… cannot really describe it, have a look.
• The gameplay looks shit-hot and really fast paced… lots of gibs… gotta love it
